I spent the weekend at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. I was fortunate enough to take a two-day long workshop called Relaxing into the Heart of Winter with Jillian Pranksy, an incredibly compassionate, peaceful, and gentle teacher. She managed to almost effortlessly weave together meditation, metta, slow flow vinyasa and restorative yoga, deep relaxation, meditative nature walks in the Berkshire hills, and a fire ceremony to clarify intentions for the new year. I left feeling fantastically reenergized.
It was an incredible weekend in which to re-center, create more space for that which nutures me, and to reaffirm my trust in my true nature, as well as the belief that that which is presented to me is true and right in any given moment.
I really must make self care and self love more intentional, more often.
